Terms & Conditions

By initiating a booking through this site the customer agrees to the terms of the policies below.

The Rock Point Center reserves the right to best utilize all our facilities while your group is present, without interfering with your group's use of contracted space and services.

Cabins are rented on a weekly (6 nights) basis from Friday afternoon to the following Thursday morning.

Meeting Space: The Rock Point Center reserves the right to assign function space to obtain optimal utilization of its meeting facilities. Should any of your functions require additional space, please inform us prior to signing this agreement. Charges for additional meeting space may be applicable.

Deposits: A 50% deposit on estimated lodging and facilities is due at time of booking. The balance due is billed upon check-in. Balances unpaid after the due date are subject to a monthly late payment fee equaling 1.5% of the balance due.

Cancellation: Notice of cancellation must be received in writing
Cancellation at least 90 days prior to booking will result in a full refund minus a 10% processing fee.
Cancellation at least 60 (but less than 90) days prior to booking will be charged 25% of the total fee.
Cancellation at least 30 (but less than 60) days prior to booking will be charged 50% of the total fee.
In the event of a cancellation less than 30 days prior to the booking, client will be responsible for the full amount of the contract.
In the event of early checkout, no refund will be given for the remaining days of the booking.

Force Majeure: A force majeure event is an event unforeseen circumstances that are beyond the control of the party booking the use of Rock Point Center facilities. Force majeure events include, but are not limited to, fire or other unavoidable casualty, strike, walkout, accident, order or regulation of or by any governmental authority; provided, however, that financial inability shall never be deemed to be a cause beyond a party's control. If a force majeure event makes it impossible for a group that has scheduled an event or activity at Rock Point Center to fulfill the terms of this contract, the following provisions will be in place:

A group may choose to reschedule their event within a 12 month period following the scheduled date at no additional cost; any deposits already paid will be applied toward that future date.

If a group chooses not to reschedule within that 12 month period, they will be allowed to cancel the event with the following stipulations: if the event is more than 90 days away, the group may cancel subject to payment of a 10% processing fee. If the event is less than 90 days away, the group will be allowed to cancel and incur a fee of 25%. No more than 25% of the total contract will be charged when force majeure circumstances are determined to apply.
