The Woods Resort Policies

General Policies

Check-in: Check-In is from 3pm to 7:00pm Sunday-Thursday and 3:00pm to 9:00pm Friday and Saturday. Please call to make arrangements if you are arriving later than our Check-In times 707-869-0600 or 707-480-3328.

Rates: All rates are based on double occupancy. Cottages 4, 5, 6 and 7 can accommodate up to 4 guests.  An additional $45 per night per extra person will apply. Children of all ages, including infants, are considered an "extra person."

Taxes: There is an additional 14% local tax.

Minimum Nights: There is a 2 night minimum on weekends and during high season. More than 2 nights may be required for holidays and special events.

Cancellation Policy

Due to our intimate size, changes to reservations including shortening stays affect us significantly. We strictly adhere to our cancellation policies. Should you need to change or cancel any part of your reservation we require advance notice as specified below prior to your arrival date. Less notice, no notice, or changes made after arrival will result in a cancellation/change penalty as specified below.

There is a $35 cancellation fee on all reservations once the reservation has been made.

Regular Cancellation Restrictions

Each room reservation requires a deposit equal to one night at the reserved room rate.  Reservations must be canceled by 12:00 pm PST at least 14 days in advance of the check-in date. (see additional restrictions below). All cancellations, even those earlier than 14 days in advance of the scheduled check-in date, are subject to a $35 cancellation fee. Cancellations later than 14 days at 12:00 PM PST prior to the stay are subject to a cancellation fee equal to the one-night stay deposit. 

Special Cancellation Restrictions

Multiple Room Reservations, Holidays and Select Special Events: Each room reservation requires a deposit equal to one night at the reserved room rate. Reservations must be canceled by 12:00 pm PST at least 30 days in advance of the check-in date. All cancellations, even those earlier than 30 days in advance of the scheduled check-in date, are subject to a $35 cancellation fee. Cancellations later than 30 days at 12:00 PM PST prior to the stay are subject to a cancellation fee equal to the one-night stay deposit. 

Lazy Bear Festival: During Lazy Bear, the last few days of July and first week in August, there is a 7-night minimum stay requirement. Each room reservation requires a deposit equal to two nights at the reserved room rate. Reservations must be canceled by 12:00 pm PST at least 30 days in advance of the check-in date. All cancellations, even those earlier than 30 days in advance of the scheduled stay, are subject to a one-night stay cancellation fee. Cancellations later than 30 days at 12:00 PM PST prior to the stay are subject to a cancellation fee equal to the two-night stay deposit.

The Woods accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Pets

Cottages-5, Cabin-16, and Deluxe-2 are dog-friendly with a $30.00 per day charge and with prior arrangement. Well behaved dogs are welcome.  No other types of pets are accepted.
