The Gardener's Room
Guests staying in the The Gardener's Room have their own private entrance, a 19th century Gothic Revival door, found at the end of a charming formal boxwood garden. The garden and it's large bluestone patio are exclusive to this suite. Decorated with period furniture, including a Gustav Stickley cabinet filled with Fulper art pottery, this room is our homage to the Arts and Crafts style. Additional furnishings include a queen size oak bed, an antique armoire, and a writing table. A cosy reading alcove is illuminated by an English Pre-Raphaelite stained glass window with a design after Walter Crane. The en suite bath features a heated marble floor and glass enclosed shower. This room can be combined with the neighboring Artist's Room to accommodate larger parties.
