CHILDREN

  • Unfortunately, we do not allow children under the age of 12 years old to stay at the Inn.
  • Guests who arrive with underaged children may, at the discretion of management, be asked to leave and therefor would be responsible for the total cost of the entire reservation

CANCELLATION GUIDELINES:

  • There is a $15.00 cancellation fee for all cancelations resulting in a refund.
  • Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to scheduled check-in date and time will qualify for a 100% refund of the initial 1 night room deposit less the $15 cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made between 14 and 7 days prior to scheduled check-in date and time, will qualify for a 50% refund of the initial 1 night room deposit less the $15 cancellation fee.
  • If your reservation is canceled within 7 days of the scheduled check-in date and time there is no refund of the initial 1 night room deposit but there is no additional cancellation fee charged.
  • In the event of a "no-show", guests will be charged the full balance of the entire reservation duration.
  • There is no refund for early departures.  Guests are responsible to pay full remaining balance upon departure.

Check-in time is 3:00pm – 5:00pm (US Eastern Time)


ADDITIONAL GUEST FEE:

  • Additional guests can be accommodated in the Easton Room, Tilghman Island Room, and Crisfield Room.  There is an additional guest fee of $55.00 per guest per night that will be added to your balance if booking one of the identified rooms with more than 2 people.
  • Any guest inviting an additional guest to stay in any room without notification to Hummingbird Inn staff will be charged a fee of $150/night for each night the guest stays.

PET GUIDELINES:
We are a Dog-Friendly B&B and welcome all well-behaved dogs regardless of size, breed or number. However, some rooms are smaller which should be considered when registering with dogs.

  • There is a $25.00 per dog per night fee.  
  • We also offer on-site pet sitting which is $10.00/hr for the first dog, $5/hr for each additional dog. Dog sitting must be pre-arranged before arrival to guarantee sitting is available.  We understand that sometimes plans change and when possible, we will provide sitting without pre-arranging but cannot guarantee availability.
  • Dogs are permitted in all common areas of the Inn, except for the guest dining room. We provide a bathing area, with hose and towels, for dogs who love to romp and swim at the beach, roll in the dirt, or just need cooling off during the warm summer days. Feel free to bring your dog’s favorite blanket or bed.
  • Guests are responsible for your dog(s) behavior. Our dog-friendly B&B has an outdoor grassy area where you and your dog are welcome to play. However, there is not a fully enclosed/gated area so dogs "off-leash" could get outside of the property.
  • Please clean-up after your dog on or off property using the provided trash on the north side of the house.

SMOKING:
There is no smoking within the Inn. Smoking is allowed outside and guests are responsible to clean up ashes, etc. There is a $250 fine for smoking inside the Inn.


CHECK-IN TIMES

  • The standard check-in times are 3:00pm – 5:00pm. Any guest that arrives after 5:00pm to check-in, may be subjected to a fine of $25.00 per hour (or portion thereof) from 5:00pm – 7:00pm, and $50.00 per hour (or portion thereof) from 7:00pm – 9:00p. Exceptions may be applied only with management approval.
  • We cannot accept check-in’s after 9:00pm. Any guest that has not arrived by 9:00pm will be considered a “No Show” and will be charged the full amount of the total reservation as per the “No Show” policy.
